It achieved a price of EUR 85,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet in May last year with an auction result of USD 24,435,000.00 (€ 22,770,478.05).

Die Arbeit Bord De Rivière, La Barque von Pierre-Auguste Renoir kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 85.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Auguste Renoir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.435.000,00 (€ 22.770.478,05).
