Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Bord de mer avec paysage by Pierre Bonnard. The price achieved of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 112,963.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Bonnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 19,570,000.00 (€ 17,553,143.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bord de mer avec paysage von Pierre Bonnard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 112.963,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Bonnard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.570.000,00 (€ 17.553.143,78).
