Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Au bord de L'Etang, Niêvre by Pierre de Clausade. The price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 855.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre de Clausade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Peupliers, Loire in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,691.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Au bord de L'Etang, Niêvre von Pierre de Clausade zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 528,75 (€ 855,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre de Clausade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Peupliers, Loire im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.691,90).
