Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contrastes Sur La Loire by Pierre de Clausade was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,516.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre de Clausade - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Peupliers, Loire, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,691.90).

Die Arbeit Contrastes Sur La Loire von Pierre de Clausade kam im Februar 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.516,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre de Clausade mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Peupliers, Loire beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.691,90) versteigert wurde.
