However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Klossowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Maniaque Commence - 1978, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 367,360.00.

Die Arbeit Roberte Aux Barres Parallèles von Pierre Klossowski kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 162.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Klossowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Maniaque Commence - 1978 beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 367.360,00 versteigert wurde.
