Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Comtesse De Castiglione - Bal De L'Opéra, Étude De Nu Féminin Voilé, 1861-1867 by Pierre-Louis Pierson was sold in the Collection Marianne et Pierre Nahon, l’art c’est la vie Online auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre-Louis Pierson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diptych: Studies of the Comtesse Castiglione, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 8,636.00 (€ 7,822.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Comtesse De Castiglione - Bal De L'Opéra, Étude De Nu Féminin Voilé, 1861-1867 von Pierre-Louis Pierson wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Collection Marianne et Pierre Nahon, l’art c’est la vie Online bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
