However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre-Louis Pierson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diptych: Studies of the Comtesse Castiglione, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 8,636.00 (€ 7,822.46).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Louis Pierson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diptych: Studies of the Comtesse Castiglione beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für USD 8.636,00 (€ 7.822,46) versteigert wurde.
