Auction result well in line with expectations

In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work A Cat, Dead Fish, Earthenware Pots And A Fishing Net On A Table by Pieter de Putter. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,133.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter de Putter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Fish, Nets, Fishing Equipment And A Knife On A Table, which sold at auction in October 2011 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,849.78).

Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Cat, Dead Fish, Earthenware Pots And A Fishing Net On A Table von Pieter de Putter zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.133,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Putter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Fish, Nets, Fishing Equipment And A Knife On A Table beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.849,78) versteigert wurde.
