Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A cat with a pike, perch and other fish and a colander on a ledge by Pieter de Putter was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,369.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter de Putter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Fish, Nets, Fishing Equipment And A Knife On A Table, which sold at auction in October 2011 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,849.78).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.369,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
