The work Venice with the Punta della Dogana, looking East towards the Doge's Palace; and Venice with the Grand Canal, S. Geremia and the entrance to the Cannaregio by Pietro Bellotti was auctioned at Christies in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 425,000.00 (€ 507,525.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. This high result makes Venice with the Punta della Dogana, looking East towards the Doge's Palace; and Venice with the Grand Canal, S. Geremia and the entrance to the Cannaregio the most expensive artwork by Pietro Bellotti that we have observed at auctions so far.
