A top price for Pietro Paolini
In April 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters, which included the work The Cardsharps by Pietro Paolini. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,147,500.00 (€ 1,053,235.43), 43% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Cardsharps is even the most expensive work of art by Pietro Paolini that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Pietro Paolini
Im April 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Cardsharps von Pietro Paolini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.147.500,00 (€ 1.053.235,43) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Cardsharps sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pietro Paolini, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
