Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,048.00 (€ 4,945.22). Other works by Pinta Pinta Tjapanangka have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 9,600.00 (€ 5,435.16) in July 2009 for the work Pinari.
