Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Agar E Ismaele by Placido Costanzi. It changed hands for a price of EUR 29,050.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Placido Costanzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Narcissus And Echo in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 204,000.00 (€ 150,887.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Agar E Ismaele von Placido Costanzi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 29.050,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Placido Costanzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Narcissus And Echo im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 204.000,00 (€ 150.887,57).
