Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Bonhams held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Noli Me Tangere; And Christ And The Woman Of Samaria 25.1Cm. (10 In.) Diameter (2) by Placido Costanzi. The price achieved of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,740.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Placido Costanzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissus And Echo in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 204,000.00 (€ 150,887.57).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Noli Me Tangere; And Christ And The Woman Of Samaria 25.1Cm. (10 In.) Diameter (2) von Placido Costanzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.740,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Placido Costanzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissus And Echo im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 204.000,00 (€ 150.887,57).
