Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Fahrelnissa Zeid for EUR 3,690.00. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,016,330.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition von Fahrelnissa Zeid für EUR 3.690,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.741.000,00 (€ 2.016.330,73).
