This artwork by Pu Zuo achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Horses sold for HKD 88,500.00 (€ 10,414.61) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pu Zuo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rabbits in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,287.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Zuo erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Horses für HKD 88.500,00 (€ 10.414,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Zuo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rabbits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.287,39).
