However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qin Ai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Accidental Meeting, which sold at auction in August last year for HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 134,425.04).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 517.500,00 (€ 49.108,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Für andere Arbeiten von Qin Ai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Accidental Meeting beobachtet, die im August letzten Jahres für HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 134.425,04) versteigert wurde.
