In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Game by Qiu Xiaofei. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 14,503.65), 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Xiaofei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Desolate Wood in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 400,997.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Game von Qiu Xiaofei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 14.503,65) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Xiaofei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Desolate Wood im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 400.997,07).
