Despite a disappointment, a good price for Quamrul Hassan
This work of art by Quamrul Hassan could be acquired at Bonhams in London in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Bathing) changed hands for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,125.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Untitled (Bathing) is the most expensive artwork by Quamrul Hassan that we have observed at auction so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Quamrul Hassan konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Bathing) für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.125,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
