The work Still life with Spoon and Jug by Rachel Nicholson was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2002. It achieved a price of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,841.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rachel Nicholson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition on Black and Green with Two Cups sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,094.51).

Die Arbeit Still life with Spoon and Jug von Rachel Nicholson kam im März 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.841,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rachel Nicholson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition on Black and Green with Two Cups im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.094,51).
