Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Acquaiola (Water Carrier) by Raffaello Romanelli was sold in the European Art: Paintings & Sculpture auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,299.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raffaello Romanelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ruth in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 165,688.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Acquaiola (Water Carrier) von Raffaello Romanelli wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion European Art: Paintings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.299,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raffaello Romanelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ruth im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 165.688,32).
