Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish aline With Guitar by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 60,168.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pierrette in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 281,000.00 (€ 331,133.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish aline With Guitar von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 60.168,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pierrette im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 281.000,00 (€ 331.133,63).
