Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,736.00 (€ 8,251.21). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ralph Todd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An entanglement, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 14,100.00 (€ 22,350.24).

Die Arbeit The Fisherman'S Cottage von Ralph Todd wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion British Art on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.736,00 (€ 8.251,21) einen neuen Besitzer.
