Auction result misses estimated price range

In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Les Mouettes, Vers 1928-1930 by Raphaël Delorme for EUR 11,875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arts décoratifs du XXème siècle at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raphaël Delorme achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Weiblicher Akt im Maschinenraum in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 125,000.00.

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Les Mouettes, Vers 1928-1930 von Raphaël Delorme für EUR 11.875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arts décoratifs du XXème siècle bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raphaël Delorme erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Weiblicher Akt im Maschinenraum im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 125.000,00.
