Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,418.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Reinier de La Haye - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Young Woman Playing The Lute, which sold at auction in June 2014 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,761.14).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.418,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
