The work Mégève À Rochebrune by René Michaud was sold in the The Ski Sale auction at Christies in London in January 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,583.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by René Michaud have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2014 the work Mégève was auctioned for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,615.74).
