Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richard Barrett Talbot Kelly could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Astor Collection from Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire auction, the work Study of a ringed plover on the sand changed hands for GBP 937.50 (€ 1,055.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Barrett Talbot Kelly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eider In Flight in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,363.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Barrett Talbot Kelly konnte im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Astor Collection from Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire wechselte die Arbeit Study of a ringed plover on the sand für GBP 937,50 (€ 1.055,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00.
