In February 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A horse in a stall by Richard John Munro Dupont. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,480.81), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard John Munro Dupont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At The Start, which sold at auction in June 2001 for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,465.34).

Im Februar 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A horse in a stall von Richard John Munro Dupont zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.480,81) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard John Munro Dupont mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit At The Start beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.465,34) versteigert wurde.
