Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work each: Untitled by Robert Barry was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,250.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Barry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bright Green Wallpiece With Silver Words in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,839.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit each: Untitled von Robert Barry wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Barry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bright Green Wallpiece With Silver Words im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.839,43).
