This artwork by Robert Barry achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June 2021. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Untitled, 1989 sold for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,239.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Barry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bright Green Wallpiece With Silver Words in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,839.43).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Barry erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled, 1989 für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.239,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Barry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bright Green Wallpiece With Silver Words im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.839,43).
