Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work A day's shoot; and The end of the day by Robert Cleminson for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,119.06). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Robert Cleminson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gambols Disturbed in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 10,800.00 (€ 9,120.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A day's shoot; and The end of the day von Robert Cleminson für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.119,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Cleminson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gambols Disturbed im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.800,00 (€ 9.120,08).
