The work The Tram Ride by Robert Sawyers was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2010. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,029.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Tram Ride is the most expensive artwork by Robert Sawyers that we have observed at auctions so far.
