The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,157.50 27% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberto Domingo y Fallola - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A la Entrada de la Plaza de Toros; And Una Romería, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,677.14).
