This artwork by Roberto Fabelo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September this year. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Naturaleza y mito sold for USD 239,400.00 (€ 226,190.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberto Fabelo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Perrerío, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 579,600.00 (€ 522,491.66).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Roberto Fabelo erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde die Arbeit Naturaleza y mito für USD 239.400,00 (€ 226.190,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roberto Fabelo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Perrerío beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 579.600,00 (€ 522.491,66) versteigert wurde.
