Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work British Untitled, 1967 by Roger Hilton was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2009. It achieved a price of AUD 24,000.00 (€ 14,110.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Hilton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work December 1960 in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,219.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit British Untitled, 1967 von Roger Hilton kam im August 2009 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 24.000,00 (€ 14.110,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Hilton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit December 1960 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 241.219,11).
