In the Robert Kime and Piers von Westenholz: An English Taste auction, the work Fulham Road, II sold for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,842.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rory McEwen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot An autumn leaf sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,310.49).
