This artwork by Ross Bleckner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March this year. In the The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online auction, the work Delaware sold for USD 75,600.00 (€ 69,536.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ross Bleckner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 277,200.00 (€ 258,317.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ross Bleckner erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online wurde die Arbeit Delaware für USD 75.600,00 (€ 69.536,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ross Bleckner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 277.200,00 (€ 258.317,03) versteigert wurde.
