This artwork by Roy Conn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2008. In the Christie's Interiors - Oak Edition auction, the work without title sold for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,113.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by Roy Conn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,284.23).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Roy Conn erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors - Oak Edition wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.113,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roy Conn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.284,23).
