In January 2003 Christies in New York held the auction 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART, which included this untitled work by Rüdolf Horácek. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,629.00 (€ 2,448.09), 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Rüdolf Horácek that we have observed at auctions so far.
