Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Cité Industrielle (The Industrial City) by Salah Yousri was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,710.17). Other works by Salah Yousri have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,204.04) in March last year for the work Le Temps des Labours (The Time of the Labourers).
