Despite a disappointment, a good price for Samira Abbassy
In June 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Into The Night by Samira Abbassy for GBP 127.50 (€ 143.33). This price was achieved in the auction MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Into The Night is the most expensive artwork by Samira Abbassy that we have observed at auction so far.
