Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Santiago Cardenas. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36). Other works by Santiago Cardenas have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,263.99) in May 2012 for the work Tablero negro, C= 300,000 km/s.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Santiago Cardenas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Santiago Cardenas haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.263,99) im Mai 2012 für die Arbeit Tablero negro, C= 300,000 km/s beobachtet.
