Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez) sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,533.14).
