A top price for Sarah Henrietta Purser - as previously expected
The work Woodland Path by Sarah Henrietta Purser was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,606.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Woodland Path is the most expensive artwork by Sarah Henrietta Purser that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Woodland Path von Sarah Henrietta Purser kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.606,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
