This artwork by Saul Leiter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. In the Classic Photographs auction, the work Boy In Window sold for USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,900.06) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Saul Leiter; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Snow sold at auction in May 2021 with the realized price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,990.59).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Saul Leiter; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Snow im Mai 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.990,59).
