In May 2014 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Changó llen con el cielo en la mano by Segundo Planes. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,873.17), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Changó llen con el cielo en la mano is even the most expensive work of art by Segundo Planes that we have observed at auctions so far.
