The work Délire; and fourteen erotic drawings by Sergei Eisenstein was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2016. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,003.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sergei Eisenstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fifteen Erotic Drawings in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 85,461.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Délire; and fourteen erotic drawings von Sergei Eisenstein kam im Juni 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.003,26) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Eisenstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fifteen Erotic Drawings im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 85.461,09).
