The work Scenery Of The Seasons by Shang Rui was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 31,654.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Shang Rui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes After Yuan Masters in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 268,699.11).

Die Arbeit Scenery Of The Seasons von Shang Rui kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 31.654,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shang Rui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes After Yuan Masters im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 268.699,11).
