This work of art by Shimon Okshteyn could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art auction, the work Birds of a feather flock together changed hands for USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,492.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Birds of a feather flock together is the most expensive artwork by Shimon Okshteyn that we have observed at auction so far.
