Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Infinite by Tomoko Shioyasu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,948.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomoko Shioyasu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Throbbing Pulse, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 725,000.00 (€ 83,788.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Infinite von Tomoko Shioyasu kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.948,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomoko Shioyasu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Throbbing Pulse beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 725.000,00 (€ 83.788,75) versteigert wurde.
